In 2018, I graduated with a degree in Human Resources—but my journey into entrepreneurship was already beginning. At the time, I had just had my first baby, and while I was proud of my degree, I quickly realized that the corporate world wasn’t where I wanted to be.
I didn’t want to spend my time working for someone else, trading hours for a paycheck that barely scratched the surface of what I knew I could achieve. By 2020, I made a bold decision: I was going to work for myself. I had no marketing experience, no formal training, and no clear direction—just a deep desire to create a better life for my family.
So, I started freelancing as a social media manager, learning everything I could, while juggling life as a new mom. I offered my services at low rates, knowing that as a complete newbie, I had to prove my worth.
To my surprise, people were willing to take a chance on me because they needed help marketing their businesses. And while I was learning on the job, I poured my heart into every project, determined to figure it out as I went.
I quickly realized that if I wanted to build something sustainable, I needed to invest in myself. I signed up for several high-ticket coaching programs and immersed myself in learning: content strategy, Meta ads, video editing, graphic design—you name it, I studied it.Those investments paid off in ways I couldn’t have imagined. By the end of my first year as a freelancer, I was working full-time from home and had
doubled my previous corporate income.
As I grew my business, I learned that succeeding on social media isn’t just about knowing how to post—it’s about adapting. Platforms change constantly, and staying ahead of those changes is key. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to stay on top of the latest trends, strategies, and updates, ensuring my clients always have the edge.
